And it'd be a BIG problem if the process stopped at any time with a definitive finish. But in the spirit of an ongoing inquiry, I don't see any harm in getting as close to mutual understanding as we possibly can. thus each misinterpretation takes time to iron out with comparison, cross-comparison and just plain ole "furthur inquiry". > I find realization is best understood as all patterns > are 'not this, not that'. Ok. Does this mean then that the inquiry and interpretation are finished? Is this complete formulation all that ever need be said again? Does it add to the Quality of our lives, by repeating it over and over and over? How does that work? Perhaps it's high quality to say "not this, not that" repeatedly because deep down we just don't get it. We're ignorant of the deep and meaningful truth this formulation contains. Then, spell it out, please. Because just saying the same thing over and over, that nobody really gets, doesn't seem to help much. I'm no big fan of mantra. I'm sure on a personal level it can be helpful in stopping a persisting mind-problem, but socially it's like -meh. > That way I can admire them as if > they were hanging on a museum wall, while considering > which might offer the most value. But you've already defined that formulation which offers the most value! You say its "not this/not that". THAT's your highest value realization. "best understood" you said. So what you're looking for then is signifying the second-best value? That which comes next down the ladder of bestest, AFTER not this, not that. In that case, you can just append it to your sig, and we'll keep it in mind with every second-best quality judgement you make. More efficient that way. Less redundant.
