Re.
Okay , Dan, thx for appearing.

I recognise the names very well, the source is the German speaking
enviroment
in Luxemburg, we write it like this in the modern spelling.
I recognise Lorraine as naming, its a real entity, Lorraine, we call it
Lotharingen,
in google earth,"Lotharingen or lorraine" you will see how close it is to
Bensingen, and that it makes the boundary with Luxemburg.Btw , we have a
province in Belgium here, called luxemburg, making the border with the
country Luxemburg also, above luxemburg, environment Arlon><Aarlen,
everything here
is as well Dutch as french named, like Lorraine>< Lotharingen, Luik><Liege.

I think i told it on this forum once, that i'm originating from exactly this
environment, Luxemburg,(the country), but the boundary's were different in
the old times.
I will inform you about the reason of the big migration towards the new
world
from here on, Luxemburg has 2 parts.
There is a river crossing the country, dividing it geograpikally in two
parts.
One part is called, The "Oesling"
Another is called "Gutland",...(German for good land).

And this difference was the split, the leaving , the reason for emigrating.
Yes, all land availiable in Oesling was very lean and poor soil, worthless of
farming, if you lived in the Oesling, you had a problem in those days.....

All of the good farminggrounds are on the Gutland-side of the river,a very
rich good environment for farmers.
So most people who left come from the "Oesling", not from Gutland.
This will be probably the originating place of your ancestors, and Molinor
is a common name here.

The river is called the "Alzette", very clean and soft water, i visited it
several times, Luxemburg is very populair here as destination,to shop,to
visit,to travel.
It is also a country nowadays, with a monetair system like Switserland,or
the Bahama's,ideal to put your money on a protected account , sheltering it
for taxes.
Ideal country for rich people, very low taxes, no questions asked, an of
shore country so to speak.
One can pass the border with the trunk of the car filled with money, no
questions will be asked.

I tracked all my ancestors even ww, Argentina, Brasil,Canada, found several
off them around the great lakes in Amerika, mostly Detroit and especially
Milwauky.
One is Paul Kintziger, married with a Phillipine women called Zenaida, and
they have a son naming Joe or Joseph in full.
He has a broter named Earl Kintziger.
After i contacted Paul, who was working on the great lakes, to do
waterquality surveys(pensioned now), he mentioned a women in France,
Lotharingen, who was a proffessor, same surname,en wrote a lot of work on
immi-emigration patterns.
she lives in Sceaux now.I did not contact her , but did read most of her
work.
This helped me a lot in my searching, i became expirienced.
i'v lost contact with Paul nowadays, but my son talk to Joe a lot on teh
social networks.

anyway, if i can help you, i will gladly do so.

We have a problem here , however.
Having a surname here in Belgium , Luxemburg only became an obligation
about 200 years ago,and since that time several wars destroyed records from
these 200 years.......
If there are registers, mostly they are not public domain.! to provide info
you have to prove to be a relative or offspring, and even than, mostly its a
paying service.

But i will put it aside, and if i have time!!, will investigate surely
I'm always short of time.

As for today, think i will wrestle some more with the naming of the Cattskill
mountains, and the naming of Schyuilkill, as you probably know, Belgium and
Holland were the same country long ago and it was called the Low Lands.
My mother is native Dutch,so my native tongue is Dutch/flemish.

One has to split Catt<>skill, and Schyuil><kill, a kill, Dutch 'Kil' is not
completely and exactly what is given as explanation in the wikipages, but it
is remarkably
good for 90 %..in Both cases.
If you like a better explanation i will give one.

I need to have it all correct if(and i will) i'm to purchase a Currier and
Ives
work via an auction or ebay, there is still a very vivid trade, and some are
in mint quality.

i recieved all my new furniture some weeks ago, everything in
teakwood, thick, pure, colonial style, very nice.
The Currier and Ives works on the wall will blend perfectly with this
setting.
Remember Mr Pirsig mentioning the colonial setting several times in "LILA"
To project it like this ,is a form of graphical idealism, embark yourself so
to speak inwards the colonial feeling visually.see?

Don't need to be the Cattskills if i purchase one, Nyak will do fine or
Horseshoe cove.
I'll need to get it wright.

Thx for reading and appearing , Dan,will work on it, can take me some time.

Adrie
