Hi Marsha, I was not one either. I came to this country when I was 18, to go to an American College. This was in 1974. I had long hair, but was essentially a post-hippy. This was the time of the Nixon fear, where the liberals took hold. In the sixties it was "fighting against the Man". After that, the country became divided and many "fought for the Man". Currently, we are beginning to see this change. Fighting for the Man, or the president is not what it once was. There is a revolution going on, which is much more important than the one in the sixties, and is against that slow transformation that took place starting in the '30s. This seemingly rapid revolution is towards one of responsibility rather than victimization. Victimization does not give the Power, or "rush" it once did. About the only one profiting today are the lawyers.
I think the movie should be great. I still suggest you read the Tom Wolfe book to prepare for it. I used to listen to albums over and over again before going to concerts. Still do in fact.
