I didn't want to say this before and tempt fate, and now you won't believe me anyway ....
But, when pundits were saying the Obama campaign seemed to have lost it's enthusiasm in the final week(s) - I was pretty sure it was because everyone had realised Mitt was such a loser - an insult to the intelligence to even consider - that it just wasn't worth getting worked up about. Yawn. To even debate the Mitt possibility was to give it a credibility it didn't remotely deserve. Americans are much smarter than they often appear. (And Phew BTW !)
