Hi Ant,

Having spent many years sailing on Long Island Sound, I had a very visceral
connection with descriptions of the 'boat', but generally, having once read
'The Social Construction of Reality: A Treatise in the Sociology of Knowledge'
by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann, I was more interested in static
patterns of value than the characters. I've always wondered how the tone of
the book would be different if RMP had read it rather than the man who was
recorded. Would his own voice have emphasized explanation, examples and
characters in the book differently?
