Hi Kevin,

So to you my thoughts are "Ha, ha, ha preposterous and dumb" and
undeserving of your serious consideration. Hardly an overwhelming
expression of the "love" you attribute to your new, morally superior,
mystic level would you say? And here I was going around thinking that
mystics were the most modest, least arrogant people on earth. Thanks for
the awakening (-:

You state:

"Static and Dynamic Quality both need each other, but this doesn't mean
a damn thing without also stating just as emphatically what they need
each other for--to work towards Dynamic Quality"

To which I add just as emphatically(with a couple of "damns" thrown in):

AND to prevent sliding back to a lower moral level (the lowest being
death).

With all your emphasis on the Dynamic and upward moral mobility, I'm
simply stating and placing emphasis on the obvious: Without static
latching, all efforts towards attaining greater awareness are in vain.

Case in point: the static nature of your proposed mystic level.

Case in point: The thousands of static words you've spent on promoting
your new mystic level.

Case in point: The static novel, Lila

Finally, as far as I can tell youve mentioned "meditation and "sculpting"
and "trusting intuition" as worthy (i.e. moral) mystic practices. What
about pot-smoking? Bungee-jumping? Religious revival meetings?
Whirling dirvishism?

Seems to me that if you want to show us the way to the mystic level then
you're intellectually obligated to tell us what sort of things go on there. So
far I haven't heard much except art, love, flow and yoga, i.e. the
philosophy and behavior of the flower children.

IMHO, the recent posts by Horse, David, Roger, Struan, Glove and Bill
are all on or near the bull's-eye. I especially liked, as Glove did, Bill's
quote from the Bible. If there is a higher level, then faith "as the
substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen" is its
central tenant.
