Well, I suppose that it depends on your perspective, what you want
to believe and what you want others to believe.
Plato, and various other Greek philosophers and bon vivants believed
that little boys bottoms were there to provide them with sexual
pleasure. Today we call them paedophiles and put them in jail for
long periods.
Neitzche (?) was a raving lunatic, Schoppenhauer was a womanizer
and misogynyst, as were many philosophers including Kant.
Bertrand Russell was an adulterer who had little or no regard for his
wife or children.
Heidegger, according to some, thought Hitler was a wonderful chap -
there's no accounting for taste really.
So apparently, the works of Plato, Neitzche, Schoppenhauer, Kant,
Russell, Heidegger et al. are low value too.
Being English, I'm led to believe that Ghandi was a nasty little
troublemaker.
Have you read the Apocryphal New Testament? Jesus was a
murderer.
Moses was also a murderer!!!
But why should we stop at philosophy? Why not ask if low quality
people can produce anything of high quality.

A great number of poets and writers have been drug addicts,
schizophrenics, homosexuals, etc. etc. but have produced extremely
high quality work. Coleridge was an opium addict, Freud a "cocaine
fiend". Half of the English Romantics were junkies and libertines and
they produced beautiful poetry.
C'mon Bob. If you're going to run down people whose philosophies
and ideas you don't like on hearsay and cheap prejudice at least be
consistent.
