I agree with most of what you are saying. Certainly natural capitalism is 
more moral than plain capitalism. No argument there.

I was not really suggesting that more people should donate to charity. Really 
my argument has nothing to do with politics or economics at all. Politics and 
economics are both parts of The Giant. It seems to me that when we start 
suggesting wide scale methods of helping people, it invariably has to involve 
The Giant. 

I think that it is a common misconception that improvement of society leads 
to improvement of individuals. We might get richer and healthier, but does 
that mean we are better people? Inside?

Sure, we can all get together and decide to alter our government in a way 
that will lead to increased wealth for everyone. And this increased wealth 
will no doubt save some lives. I don't have a problem with that, David. It's 
high Quality. But that doesn't change us inside. The wealth around us may 
bloom, but our inner-selves remain unchanged. Our values toward others 
unaltered. Does this make any sense?
