I reply; You capitalise the first 'quality,' David and yet not the second. Are you 
therefore using
the word in two different ways? I can't really answer the question unless I have some 
idea what
meaning the respective terms, 'Quality,' and 'quality,' have in your sentence - 
especially in
relation to one another.
