Though a part of everyday usage (that book was lacking in quality),
Pirsig never seems to have considered the existence of  things of poor
quality. I wonder what would have happened if Phaedrus had asked his
students to define poor quality. It seems much easier to do, though it
deals a serious blow to SOM & MOQ. Do you have any thoughts on MO(N)Q?
