Dear Matt,
When I studied Objectivism as a teen-ager, I subscribed to "The
Objectivist Newsletter." It had a section called "Intellectual ammunition
Department." This section gave
the objectivist "line" on many subjects, rendering thought by the reader
totally superfluous. That's when I dropped my study of Objectivism.
Pirsig is rather dogmatic as well, but, at least he'd never publish a
newsletter.
