Hey all,

Just a thought on the the Pirsig-going-to-the-Netherlands fantasy. I
don't think it would be hard to convince him of the morality of it: his
appearance could only lead to intellectual advance, Dynamic leap, if you
will, and this seems to me to be of the highest practical moral value--what
could supersede it? Of course this whole luring-Pirsig strategy assumes him
to be some sort of Christ figure who teaches us the way to truth by following
his example. That is to say, maybe he just wouldn't feel like going. He
certainly hasn't taken a very active role in the development of the MOQ
lately, at least not to my knowledge. Also, how is this guy's health? He's
not so young anymore ya know. Maybe he's not up to a transatlantic trip. In
any event, I say go for it anyway. I'd love to meet the guy. Finally, one
last question: I saw a link to May 99 interview with Pirsig but the page was
down. Is this the interview in the 25th anniversary editon of Zen, or
something else, and if it is something else how do I find this interview?
