David (Prince) -I may stand corrected; I was thinking of BFSkinner, and the notion that 'mind' is an unneccessary concept, which can be replaced with the notions of innate and /or acquired responses to stimuli. It alwasy seemed to me that in this model, the organism under consideration views the future as a sort of repetition of components which occurred in the past; sort of " when I did this last time, then so-and-so happened (which I liked); therefore, to make so-an-so happen again, I should repeat steps 1 and 2 and so on. Am I being overly simplistic in my understanding? cheers Peter Lennox Hardwick House tel: (0114) 2661509 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or:- [EMAIL PROTECTED] MOQ.ORG - http://www.moq.org Mail Archive - http://alt.venus.co.uk/hypermail/moq_discuss/ MD Queries - [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe from moq_discuss follow the instructions at: http://www.moq.org/md/subscribe.html
