Hi Kenneth,
thank you for your mail, yet more well constructed objections!

> Richard:
> People care about their choices and their freedom to exercise those
choices. Perhaps by default they also care about intellect and politics?
Intellect has partly taken over society but not totally, society still holds
some cards (retail dollars, strikes, etc.)

<< Hm, quite...but, so as an conter example, the change at least here in my
country, from a collective labour agreement to a more personalised one,
that is the employers negoitate with each employe about his/ hers labour-
and salary conditions is a deed of the Intellect !?

Richard
Are you trying to trap me Kenneth? :o) of course the salary condition is NOT a deed
of intellect as no two peoples are the same! while this is the case, the salary
condition can best described as an attempt by the organic values and the intellect to
remain in control of the employee. if this wasnt the case all salary conditions would
be the same, we'd all work the same hours, we'd be told when to take time off etc.

Kenneth
That is, in other terms, the increase in the notion of Individuality is some-how " a
magic stroke " of the Intellect in order to get closer to the Individual in order for
a better control of the subject....?

RED
the intellect objects to individuality as that poses a threat to the state! The
intellect wants control of us as we are a lower form of value to the intellect, it
creates the NOTION of individuality and freedom then pays us big bucks to use those
choices to go and work for IT (that is IT no I.T. :o) ).

Kenneth
Is that is true, how can you still support your claim that the Intellect ignores
Society !? The fact as mentioned as above seems to indicate, at least for me, that the
Intellect is a " Founder " of Society, at least it seems that way...

Richard
Intellect does ignore society, it gains control of us by rewarding the disposal of
freedom in exchange for billable hours! at no point does society enter the situation
apart from when the member of society leaves to join some multinational company for a
six figure pat cheque! ;o)

> Richard:
I.E. people being slaves to the economy while kept happy with the rewards
that allow the fulfilment's of the dream of nice car, beautiful partner,
lovely children, designer clothes, large bank balance, good pension, family
pets etc.

<< What is the alternative !? Poverty and crime or living like a hermit, owing his/
hers on kitchen- garden and watching the stars at night !? Quite attemp-ting prospect,

RED
perhaps now you see why intellect will win us.

Kenneth
The " Back to Earth " movement did not quite made an impact and on the other hand
what is the goal of the Intellect making us slaves to the economy!?

RED
If you want a human angle (you can't be trying to suggest you can't see why the
intellect wants control??) it's that by turning us into slaves (who aren't really
slaves as we've made the choice right?) it allows us to move to the point where we
transcend to the DQ plane (imagine life where you are alone in your cubical for 100
hours a week where you speak to no one and are too tired to do things after work.
eventually you'd reach the stage where your job would become purely routine and you'd
be spending all day meditating on the job you can do with your eyes shut. this would
turn us all into Buddhists, is this bad???

Kenneth
Slaves are well aware of their situation, now and then, and IMO again, Christianity
was / is still a slave- religion. That has nothing to do with the discussion I know,
but see my point here.

the slavery you talk about is one where there was no choice and which acted as a
violation of organic values. the slavery i talk about results at the end of a choice
process and results in the violation of society values. not the same!

KEN
As a religion Christianity gave the slaves hope that ONE DAY someone will come to save
them. The Intellect is being warned....

RED
given the distinction between the two is there really a need for this warning?

Thanks for your mail Kenneth, i enjoyed your points very much, and i hope you feel
better!

Richard
