today in class we had a discussion about how george w bush might actually be
able to solve the conflict in the middle east: he's so ignorant of the
crisis and so naive that he actually thinks that he can do it!! everyone
else is very cynical about it, and the naivety might just be what the middle
east needs to end so many years of strife. well, let me be george w for a
second here on a much smaller scale. im pretty new here, and very naive, so
let me just say that there's been enough bitterness here about the publishing
of LC and all, and it's obvious that diana doesn't want her stuff published
and has very good reasons for it that she has explained in detail and
belabored upon. i can understand the frustration from other people that
comes along with diana's convictions, but that's just the way it is. you
know, when i first started reading these posts, i was thinking, 'damn, these
are some smart people, i dont know how i'll ever be able to contribute.' and
now i see all this schoolyard bickering from the same smart people that needs
to just end. anyway, like mr president, im a naive country bumpkin with very
little knowledge, but i hope that you guys can get back to talking miles over
my head instead of the alternative.
