Bo:

Might I contend that even elements within the framework of the MoQ
discussions can become "static"? I think it's fantastic to see an influx of
new talent in here that I'll bet was drawn for the same reasons as I - the
fact that Pirsig's works have touched our lives in a positive way and
fostered a desire to know "more". The MoQ is IMHO such as all-encompassing
work as to be almost holographic in it's seemingly limitless opportunities
for discussion. Yes, Struan offered excellent points, but he was kind of a
prick and it detracted from his comments. As for Diana, she and her husband
were probably having "issues", and she submitted as a good wife should.
There have been a few recent posts somewhat "trashing" the group (re: Chris
Hoying's empirical diatribe prior to his vanishing) and I can only point out
that every entity of every kind has it's malcontents. Apparently you have
nothing more positive to offer us Bo, but I'd like to know - Were you
"unsubsribed" when Diana referred to us as "losers", or do you count yourself
in our number?

Clarke (proud Loser)
