Thanks for that brief intro into the ever-evolving shape of the Evolutionary 
paradigm.  Yet if this reigning scientific view is correct, doesn't it 
basically rock the MoQ off of it's foundation?  If somebody asked me to sum 
up the basic tenet of the MoQ in one word, I would say "progress".  But are 
you saying that there is nothing progressive about biological evolution?  I'm 
pretty sure that Darwin himself stated that evolution was capable of 
reversing itself (Devolution) but this still fit the MoQ, IMO, in terms of 
the biological organisms' ability to "statically latch".  I think I am pretty 
confused.  Perhaps the social and intellectual constructs of humanity no 
longer require any further biological progressions.  Perhaps, as you 
speculated, the biological level is nothing more than an issue of survival.  
Yet if the cells have found that societies and the intellect are superior 
mechanisms for survival, why don't beetles pontificate on the virtues of 
Capitalism and Socialism?
