It mentions a book then goes on to spew the article author own interpretation of the "facts" and somehow through a circuitous route gets around to the folly of Europeans comparing Hussein and Hitler possibly because both names start with H.
Somehow Platt interprets this as representing scientific "facts". Oh what a tangled web we weave...
