Did I say I only have some detail left? Oh my, detail is a big deal!!! I'm such an abstract thinker that I want to know how it fits into the whole before I've carefully looked at the detail. Or maybe I'm just lazy? Within the painting, detail needs some attention. Just like life. It's a matter of being able to hold the macro as well as the micro within "yourself" at the same time. Socrates didn't say it first, but <Know Thyself!!!> Of course, this should always be done with your spiritual intention.(It is anyway, with or without your consciousness.) Would that be by keeping your mind on events of higher quality? Or would that be by evaluating what you consider 'higher quality'? Or both. Would this be interesting to an alpha male? A warrior? A gun? Or does it have to be their way, or death? Who or what is going to lead you to Quality? m P.s. Feeding your head isn't such a farfetched concept to play with. It provides all sorts of information. For instance, I have a friend who is suffering from PTSD (Viet Nam). So I asked him what he reads. He told me he reads mostly war and adventure novels. "Feed your head. Feed your head." And keep that adrenaline flowing. Daaaah. P.p.s. Speaking of dah, I've just been avoiding the detail in the painting. Hmm. Back to the future, no, back to the now. I promise I will end this post when I finish this painting.
