You could hunt and forage on our public lands for food, make your own clothing and shelter from the skins of the animals you catch. But let's not forget the message of ZMM. What people see as "Quality" in large ways depends on their metaphysical orientation. In an SOM culture, as described in ZMM, Quality is largely left out. And so people clamor to marketed style. In a culture that deifies "wealth", many come to believe that wealth denotes meaning and value. It denotes neither.
