Case, Horse,

Point made.

Platt is indeed, and has been for many years, a useful "test case" for
much debate. The only one in captivity my old boss would say. A while
ago I suggested it was no coincidence "Platt Holden" was "The Old
Plant" set up to entirely (by who knows whom ?) to poke contrarily
into our fragile thoughts - I find it hard to otherwise rationalise
the existence of such a twisted mind on the planet.

That said, Horse, I do believe Platt needs the occasional "censuring"
for the low quality inhuman words he expresses - just to make him stop
and think at the response - by social control - since dialectic is
such a limited tool in the long run. The Catch-22 of enlightened
thinking - there are no watertight arguments, only koans - what Platt
calls disparagingly "turn the other cheek".

Let the fun continue, but don't let Platt forget the fire he is playing with.
Letting him know you have the power of censorship, is not the same as
wielding such power (water off a duck's back to Platt I know). As
Groucho said, we don't want to become members of a club that would
have us as members - a club that wields the social power that it has
the right to wield.
