Arlo, Platt,

Excellent piece ... not new, and I guess written to coincide with the
latest book of Einstein quotes ?

This quote sounds like my criticism of Dawkins flavour of "fanatical atheism"
"The fanatical atheists," he wrote in a letter, "are like slaves who
are still feeling the weight of their chains which they have thrown
off after hard struggle. They are creatures who--in their grudge
against traditional religion as the 'opium of the masses'-- cannot
hear the music of the spheres."

(Also reminds me why I was so moved by Bronowski.
And that darned Catholic connection in there again.)

Anyway one for Platt, demanding we all bow and scrape to the mighty US
""Nationalism is an infantile disease, the measles of mankind."

Good stuff
