Hello Andreas and all Democrats.
I read your story with great interest and no but to your vision of the
MOQ, but I guess we may find examples of illegal tactics in all
countries, the point is that such things are regarded ILLEGAL in
democracies while in a more "social" community it would be the
normal procedure. Kohl forgot himself and acted as if he was
immune, this became his downfall. That's how democracy differs
from autocracy!

Everyone tries to manipulate his/her surroundings this merely show
the social side to existence, and this is not regarded illegal per se,
we are supposed to be able to discriminate if the "manipulation" is
OBJECTIVE . In other words: Intellect regard itself suoerior if
allowed to stay on its own home ground, while coercion and bribery
is carrying it over to the Social arena and there Intellect is
impotent. From German history there is a song that says "Mein
Gedanken Sind Frei" supposing there is a free "gedanke-Intellect",
but the Q- Intellect - and its political arm Democracy - has a social
base and we do it a disservice by demanding godlike qualities from
its representatives.

I agree with your words below, but not quite from the same
premises :-) I'll try to elaborate.

Hmmm Pirsig does rather say: "Trust Quality"! However,
quality/value is made up of several static layers so trusting one
such - one's mind (Intellect) - is too narrow * (see footnote). Even
worse is trusting ones senses (biology) I think you mean Dynamic
Quality, but it is slightly off-set to the static sequence - even
Intellect.

Agreed!

I take it all in the best meaning even if the "sensual experience"
part grates my Q-nerve a little. "Whatever you say can be used
against you"......<grin>

Thanks for your time.

*) There is is a tendency to look upon Intellect as the "door of
perception", but this is SOM.
