Well, one solution would be to align the individuals using landmarks
that do not contain allometric variation, and let the allometric points
lift along with the alignment. After hat, all variation in the
allometric points will be there where it should be, in the allometric
points. This of course only works when there are sufficient
non-allometric points to be used for the alignment.
