I am working on the analytical side of the new Morpheus. As in the old
Morpheus, this involves a main program window or desktop in which child
windows are used to display text and (eventually) graphics. For this
main program window, I currently put up random images that sort of
"dress" things up a bit. The three images I use are modified skull
images I grabbed from the net, and I don't have any permissions to
distribute them.

So, I ask the morphmet community if you have any nice images suitable
for program backgrounds you would be willing to donate to me. A range of
taxa, drawings, graphics, etc. would be nice. I may even allow the user
to define their own desktops in future versions, or choose to have none
at all.

If you do have such images, then I ask you send them to me. I may select
those I like best, modify them for use as backgrounds, and
include them in future releases of Morpheus. If you send me an image,
please include the following (fill in the blank):

"Included is an image of _______ you may use as you see fit in the
development of your morphometric software. I own the rights to this
image, and I grant you permission to use, modify, and distribute it as
you wish as part of your software."

Please include this for each image submitted.

Thanks, dslice
