-------- Original Message -------- Subject: a bunch of R codes Date: Wed, 3 Sep 2008 13:01:18 -0700 (PDT) From: Annat Haber <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Hi everyone, I uploaded a bunch of R codes to my website that could be of interest to people here and for which I would very much appreciate people's feedback. Particularly, there's a function that aligns along a plane of symmetry and reflects right and left, and a function that attaches the dorsal to ventral aspects of the skull (or any two configurations that share a few landmarks), as well as an example of a protocol and an input file that use these functions. Also, If you're working with Artiodactyla, you can download the database that I've been putting together for taxonomic standardization. This database includes every combination that appears in over 50,000 museum records worldwide and their (currently) correct names based mostly on Mammal Species of the World 3rd Ed. I hope that can be of use to people, and please email me with any comments you may have. http://home.uchicago.edu/~annat/ Cheers Annat ~~~~~~~~~ Annat Haber, PhD candidate Committee on Evolutionary Biology University of Chicago Culver Hall 402 1025 E. 57th St. Chicago IL 60637 [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Replies will be sent to the list.
