Now Morphologika seems to work just fine. Thanks again, Evilena. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *From:* morphmet <[email protected]> *To:* morphmet <[email protected]> *Sent:* Tuesday, May 19, 2009 3:57:06 PM *Subject:* Re: Problem with morphologika -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Problem with morphologika Date: Tue, 19 May 2009 07:13:29 -0700 (PDT) From: andrea cardini <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Evilena, Morphologika and VISTA don't get on very well but I know quite a few people (most of them are also MORPHMET subscribers) who managed to make it work. I can't say anything else on this as I still use XP. For importing the data, I have two simple ways. 1) convert files in nts using Morpheus and then using a Morphologika example file to make the txt file with all the information you need directly in the Morphologika format; this always works and it's also the best format I know to later import the data in MorphoJ (if you need); 2) convert files in nts using TPSUtil, remove all labels (both variables and specimens) and anything which comes after a double quote (") so that only there's only the format line (ex. for 4 specimens, with 20 3D landmarks: 1 4 60 0 dim=3) and the raw coordinates. Good luck!
