Hi, We will run the SlicerMorph 3D Digital Morphology and Morphometrics workshop May 23-26th via zoom.
Course will be held online via zoom, meeting times are daily from 9.30-3.00p (PT). Workshop is free of charge, but you have to attend all four days. Each day will have a mixture of short presentations in a single plenary session followed by longer breakout sessions during which attendees will work on tutorials with their assigned instructor. Contents will cover all steps of digital morphology tasks starting from data import, 3D visualization and segmentation, model building, measurement and landmark digitization, and visualization and exploration of morphospace in 3D. SlicerMorphR package can be used to import datasets from Slicer/SlicerMorph to do inferential statistics on shape data using existing R packages. You can browse the contents of the previous workshop at https://github.com/SlicerMorph/Spr_2021. Workshop exercises will be done using the SlicerMorphCloud platform. For SlicerMorphCloud, we need ORCIDs to assign everyone individual users. If you don’t have one, you can register for one freely at https://orcid.org/register Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served until all slots are filled.
