Dear morphometricians

A new paper (or rather, the corrected final version with all figures intact)
has been published today.
https://rdcu.be/cLLtR

The paper compares four methods for characterizing allometry in geometric
morphometrics: multivariate regression of shape on a measure of size, the PC1
of shape, the PC1 of conformation (also known as “size-and-shape”, “form” of
some authors, or “figure” since the 1970s) and the PC1 of Boas coordinates. The
paper presents simulations and two contrasting empirical examples to assess the
performance of these methods and their relationships to each other.

Best wishes
Chris
