As we prepare for the upcoming Slicer 5.12 release, we are continuing to revamp several core SlicerMorph modules. Last month's update focused on the improved HiResScreenCapture, the new Animator, and the VRPresetHub modules, this month we are excited to share significant enhancements to *GPA* and *ALPACA*. 🛠️ Module Updates *GPA* - *Interactive Visualization:* Drive your 3D visualization directly from PCA scatter plots. - *Enhanced Performance:* Support for large landmark datasets with a much more responsive visual experience. - *Geomorph Integration:* Visualize allometric regressions (or any procD.lm models) directly in the scene via integration with *geomorph* using pyRserve. *ALPACA* - *Expanded Parameters:* Specify a wider range of values for registration parameters to fine-tune your results. - *Iterative Consensus Atlas:* You can now iteratively build a consensus atlas from a set of 3D models using the new Templates tab. *Note: These changes are available now in the Slicer preview build starting from revision 34556.* ☁️ *Important MorphoCloud Transition* Please be aware of the following upcoming changes to the MorphoCloud service: - *June 1st:* The current MorphoCloud service will end and become unavailable. - *July 1st (or earlier):* The new and improved MorphoCloud service will launch. 📅 *Register for Upcoming Events* - *BootCamp & Hackathon (September 8-11, Seattle, WA)* This project-based event is tailored for biologists working in 3D morphometrics and image analysis who want to actively shape and improve the tools they rely on.
