Am I correct in thinking that tpsDIG treats pixels as being square? I want to analyse a set of images grabbed from a microscope-mounted video camera with rectangular pixels (of known dimensions). The specimens are all oriented in the plane perpendicular to the camera, but at different angles of rotation within that plane. Treating the pixels as square would cause shape change artifacts depending on each specimen's orientation. Can anyone suggest a way of correcting for this?
