Hello everyone, I am doing geometric morphometrics on freshwater fish and I am using TPSdig and TPSrelw.
Eight of my 24 landmarks were semilandmarks because I could not find an appropriate landmark near those positions. I discovered how to set these landmarks as semilandmarks in TPS. However, while reading 'Geometric Morphometrics for Biologists; A Primer' by Zelditch et al. they say that the degrees of freedom should be reduced for semilandmarks.
