I am fairly new to the field of geometric morphometrics and trying to
find the methods suitable for my research. I have been looking at using
Partial Least Squares - Regression analysis for a part of my project
(predicting missing landmarks using a mean shape). However, I am quite
confused by the whole range of algorithms available for PLSR, like
NIPALS, SVD approach etc. Is there any paper which explains the relative
merits/ demerits of the approaches, and which algortihm is used for what
kind of problem?
