Andrea,

I don't know what you mean by morphometric analysis exactly, but the CAESAR
survey contains 4,431 humans with 3-D whole body scans of 3 postures (i.e. 3
scans each) and 73 3-D landmarks. A few people have been developing some
3-D shape descriptors that are not dependent upon landmarks and have done
some testing of them with this dataset. Here are some references:

Dear morphometricians,
could you please let me know any reference on 3D geometric morphometric
analyses of any animal taxon with large samples (> 1000)?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Cheers

Andrea
