I would like to report that there is a method describing geometric
parameters of the round robin (cycles) figures both in two and in three
measurements.
Essence of the method: used coordinates point interesting for
investigator usually they rest upon external border of the organ, bodies
is conducted harmonic decomposition parameter to protuberances and
unevenness on several harmonicas, for instance on three. It is under
taken into account detour from correct symmetrical cycle.
The printout of the program contains the factors to symmetries for
axises getting through the centre of the cycle. There are: 1)
proturberance (relief) 2) unevenness (dispersion on the edge), 3)
anglers, 4) dissymmetry (of all cycle)
As example used to leaves Betula. I suppose that method can be useful
for description population and the individual features Animalia better
then for plants, (least accumulate too much factors).
I assume that absence or presence of the sign (for instance at
description pleural among insects) means the difficulty to applicability
of the method.
The insufficiency of the method: base form from which scanning the
deflections implies round robin (cycle) figure. However in nature it
(cycle) rather widespread.
That do You think on the method.
Aside from description think it can be used in morphological
differentiation both in phylogenic, as well in genetic.
Sincerely yours
