Dear forum. I need some suggestions and helps about tpsRelW sofware.
I'm very familiar with Prof. Rohlf TPS software series. I have been using it since 1999 and keeping it updated regularly. But, recently I was started to use it with semilandmark data. I have 47 semilandmarks with no fixed location in the outline of closing curve or oval like form. The number of specimens are 230. When I use tpsSplin, the tps file with its sliding nts file worked beautifully. No problem. Then, I entered the same 2 file in tpsRelW. First the tps landmarks file and then the sliding file. All settings were default. But, when I hit the consensus button, it didn't work. An error message came out "Range check error". Later, I changed the number of maximun iteration to 40. It gave a little hope because the progress bar reach 99% (1 hour) before the same warning appeared "Range check error". May I ask a little help from the forum, specially Prof. Rohlf?
