I believe this is what the program tpsregr does from Rohlf. Or that is
what the instructions lead me to believe...see those.

Dear morphometricians,
in order to compare the goodness of fit of multiple regressions using
different independent variables (for instance, all the available ones or
just a subset) an F test using the SSE and their df in the two models
can be done. If this is appropriate, I was wondering whether there might
be anything similar for a multivariate multiple regression. Any
suggestion, please?
