Dear morphmetters, We just wanted to draw the attention of the morphometrics community to our (relatively) new book on Virtual Reconstruction. The book serves as an introduction to the principles of three-dimensional visualization techniques as they relate to fossil reconstruction, morphometric analysis and reverse engineering. It covers 3D data acquisition, processing, virtual reconstruction, visualization, manipulation, reverse engineering, geometric morphometric analysis, and applications to biomedicine. Chapter 8 is a comparative introduction to the diverse methods of geometric morphometrics.
