Dear morphometers First an apology, yes of course 2d GPA coordinates have dimensionality (no_of_landmarks*2) -4, not 3 as in my earlier posting. Thanks to all those who pointed out my lapse.
Second the new release of morphologika, version 2.2 has been uploaded. It can be obtained from http://www.york.ac.uk/res/fme/resources/software.htm Unfortunately I have run out of PCs that have never had a previous version installed so cannot properly test the installation package. I would therefore appreciate a very brief e-mail from anyone who downloads it in the next week letting me know if the installation was successful or failed. I'll do my best to correct any issues quickly. If you already have a version 1 copy installed (i.e. anything before morphologika2) then please uninstall before installing the latest. Version 2 compared with version 1 offers 1. Form (size and shape) or shape space analyses 2. Input of TPS files 3. Multivariate regression of shape on an independent variable 4. Thorough and complete output of results to .csv format files making them easy to submit to subsequent analyses using standard statistical packages 5.
