Thanks, Fred. By coincidence, the projective geometry mentor of Lawrence
Edwards, the author of the book I'm trying to contextualise, was George
Adams (Kaufmann) and Edwards cites the Adams/Whicher book. Adams,
Whicher and Edwards seem to form a group of morphometricians that is
independent of almost everyone else in the field.
