Dear Colleagues,

Once again I would like to inform you about possibility to do your
research on morphometrics (and much more) and be granted by the EU.
There is a program called Synthesys
(http://www.synthesys.info/access.html) supporting access to 19 European
natural history museums and botanic gardens. In our institute in Warsaw
(PL TAF--http://www.synthesys.info/pltaf.htm) there is a new Hitachi
scanning microscope S-3400M (incl. sputter coater and critical point
dryer, cool stage), Reflex 3D microscope
http://www.reflexmeasurement.co.uk/newmicro.htm), Kontron scanning
camera as well as the required geometric morphometrics software at your
disposal. There is also a high-quality newest 3D laser scanner (VI-9i)
from Minolta (http://www.minolta-3d.com/) installed here; accuracy is
really great and scans impressive.

Do not miss the chance. The deadline is very soon: September 15, 2006!!!!

Eligible countries to apply for a grant: Austria, Belgium, Denmark
(including Greenland), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia,
Finland, France (including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyane, La Réunion),
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg,
Malta, Netherlands, Poland (excluded while applying for PL TAF),
Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom plus the
Associated Countries of the EU: Switzerland, Iceland, Israel,
Liechtenstein, Norway and Candidate Countries of the EU Bulgaria,
Romania and Turkey.

Best wishes, Wieslaw Bogdanowicz
