Dear Morphmet, as I found a cheap possibility to obtain ct-scans of corvid skulls, I would like to use Edgewarp for data-analysis. Because Edgewarp requires 1bit raw-files, I converted dicom-files to 8bit raw-files using the programme dicom2. Now I would like to convert these files from 8bit to 1bit raw-files. Google told me that python (module imageop, grey2mono) would be able to do the job. As I am not familiar with python, I would like to ask, whether anybody could help with the code or if anybody found an easier way to convert dicom-files to 1bit raw-files.
