We feel very sorry for the recent loss of Marco Corti. In our experience, he was a very kind and friendly colleague, and as Santiago has remarked, ready to help to those in trouble with the convolutions of the morphometric trail. It is surely too early to write an objective sketch of the recent development of morphometrics, but Marco will be in the final portrait.
