Hi Thom,

One decent paper was done on algae comparing several morphometric
techniques; the reference is below.

Verbruggen, H. et al. 2005. Morphometric taxonomy of siphonous green
algae: a methodological study within the genus Halimeda (Bryopsidales).
Journal of Phycology 41: 126-139.

Cheers,
Hilary

Colleagues,
I am looking for papers that either:
     1. compare efficacy of geometric and traditional morphometrics
     2. fuse geometric and traditional data into a single data space

Please tell me of relevant papers you may know, to get me started.

Reply off-list please to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Those who also would like this information let me know and I will send
you the compiled responses.

Thanks,
Thom DeWitt
