Hi Hamid

I recently published a paper with some colleagues on the issue of error
assessment in geometric morphometrics:

The Problem of Assessing Landmark Error in Geometric Morphometrics:
Theory, Methods, and Modifications American Journal of Physical
Anthropology (in press)

This might be of interest to you? It mainly deals with the problems of
identifying landmarks on 3D objects when using a digitiser, so it may not
be directly relevant to your problem but it does discuss the theoretical
and practical problems surrounding landmark measurement error and the
identification of poorly defined landmarks.

I can send you a PDF of the paper should you wish.
Good luck!
Noreen
