Dear morphometricians, my name is Thorolf Hardt, I´m a PhD student in Mainz/Germany at the Institute of Anthropology. I collected a huge 3D-dataset of nearly 500 hominoid skulls with the MicroScribe and now I´m getting into statistics with it. My question – I want to compute which landmarks have the highest influence on the PCA-factors. Is there any software-tool/algorithm to do this? I´m able to have a look at the loadings of the single values (X,Y,Z) but no idea how to sort out the influential landmarks themselves (LM1, LM2…).
