Hello, A friend of mine is performing a study concerning tooth root's surface versus implant screw's surface. She has scanned the teeth using a 3D laser scanner but because the teeth reflect the laser beam she only managed to scan ~90% of their roots' surface. How can she reconstruct the missing parts? Which software (freeware or shareware) can she use in order to determine root's area? (this is the first time we use a laser scanner). Thank you!
