I believe most of the Universities in the U.S. have their terms well underway, and at least the University of Vienna has yet to start theirs. Now might be a good time for a bit of diversion.
So, I call your attention to the morphMap feature now at http://www.morphometrics.org (click on morphMap in the menu). This is an interactive map that allows visitors to add themselves, their pictures, and a little additional information to a map display. I believe it will be generally interesting to the global distribution of folks interested in morphometrics, and it could help identify neighbors with similar interests that could foster new interactions and, maybe, even collaborative research. This free service is provided by www.frappr.com that requires you to register with an email address. This is so you can be linked to your information and uploaded pictures for display. Several others and myself have been on the map for some months now and to my knowledge have experienced no problems associated with registering with this service. Enjoy, the Moderator (dslice) -- Replies will be sent to the list. For more information visit http://www.morphometrics.org
