Hello,
For work on small mammals I use a digital SLR with a macro lens mounted
to a Benbo Mini Trekker table-top tripod. The Benbo is inexpensive and
portable. You can also use a shoe mounted spirit-level to make sure the
camera is vertical (if you're taking vertical pics).

regards

Mark

Thank you all for your suggestions about how to go about collecting
data! What a wonderful resource this is!

I have another silly question. For those of you who take pictures, do
you use a tripod or some other device? I've been envisioning some
adjustable / fully movable rig that could take pictures from the same
angle each time. However, I really can't find something like this. I
figure that I will end up making something myself (with torches,
welders, and duct tape!!), but perhaps there is something out there already?

Thanks again!
