Folks, I don't think there are any formal guidelines for messages posted to morphmet, but I would appreciate the following:

1) Submit only plain text messages - no pictures, figures, or formatted equations.

2) Do not insert hard EOLs - let your viewer/editor "soft wrap" the text.

3) Place a blank line between paragraphs.

I suppose the first is a bit antiquated, but I don't care to unnecessarily limit access to the discussions. The other two help me in moderating the list. I am frequently confronted with text oddly broken for some unknown column width and must further try to divine where the intended paragraphs breaks are in the text. Such stress upon my already challenged faculties only slows the posting to the list.
